Single-phase motor with 2 capacitors
This single-phase electric motor 220V is composed of two capacitors: a start capacitor and a run capacitor. Using two capacitors on your motor is advised in case of applications requiring more torque or starting force. Depending on the cabling you prefer, the motor can rotate in both rotation directions: either clockwise or counterclockwise thanks to terminal block connections equipped with terminals strips/lugs.
It is the ideal motor for big machines, especially in the industrial sector, such as blowers, crushers, heat pump motorisations, etc. At EASI-Spare, you can choose between 1,500 RPM or 3,000 RPM.
Single-phase motors with two capacitors can be used with 3 types of flanges:
- B3 flange is composed of 2 fixing brackets on the floor.
- B14 flange is composed of 4 tapped holes on the output of the motor (flange as large as the width of the motor).
- B5 flange is composed of 4 plain holes on the output of the motor (flange as large as the width of the motor).
Two capacitors on your single-phase motor 220V
Having two capacitors on the motor, a run capacitor and a start capacitor, enable to have a better torque at starting (1.8 to 2.5 the nominal torque).
The start capacitor operates during two and three seconds, then it is automatically separated for a micro-switch in the motor. Then, it is the run capacitor.
EASI-Spare offers single-phase electric motors in 220V up to 3.7 kW (5 CV) in 3,000 RPM and 1,500 RPM.
