2.4.6 Threshold relay

A threshold relay is only used to activate or deactivate electric circuits when the voltage or the current reaches the limit determined.

Then, we distinguish current-controlled relays from voltage-controlled relays.

Threshold relays are used in industrial automation, safety systems or even electric systems.
