Applications:
The overvoltage protection device is composed of a semiconductor valve unit (varistor) which opens under a number of conditions.
In standard conditions, the overvoltage protection device (surge arrester) has an infinite impedance between the protected conductors and the earth.
In case of overvoltage (lightning or system failure), the varistor opens and conducts the overvoltage towards the earth circuit.

After the reinstatement of the normal voltage, the varistor closes.

* Nominal discharge current (In): peak value of the discharge current that can be diverted several times to the earth : 20kA
* Maximum discharge current (Imax): maximum value of discharge current that the arrester is able to handle once 40kA
* Nominal operating voltage (Uc) :
- voltage feedback of the surge arrester: 275/440V; 50Hz

* Indicator when the arrester needs to be changed.

Mounting:
- DIN rail fixing.
- vertical position.

- to mount at the input of the electric panel.

- rigid or flexible connectors with the corresponding section.
