New model: Variable-frequency drive (VFD)
It offers a triple advantage for managing an induction motor:
- The variable-frequency drive enables to transform a 220V Single phase into a 220V 3 phase, in order to use a 220V/380V 3 phase motor (delta connection) on a traditional outlet.
- The variable-frequency drive also enables to vary the supply voltage (50Hz) and thus vary the induction electric motor base speed (front button).
- The variable-frequency drive manages the motor start and stop phases, in order to avoid power peaks when the engine starts.

Characteristics:
- Supply: 220-230V (±10%), 50/60Hz (±5%)
- Motor setting by auto-tuning
- Braking transistor to add
- Direct current injection
- 8 TOR entries (0-24V in PNP or NPN), 3 analogue inputs (0-10V, 4-20mA), 2 transistor outputs, 1 relay output, 2 analogue outputs
- Perfect vector control without sensor
- Low-frequency torque at 0.25 Hz
- Protection against short circuit
- V/F (automatic slip compensation); or open-loop vector control or closed-loop vector control
- Output frequency from 0.00 to 300.00Hz in vector control, 0.00 à 3200,00Hz in constant torque application U/F (stability±0.50 Hz)
- Starting torque 150% to 0.5 Hz
- Overload capacity: 150% during 1 min, 180% during 2 s
- Keyboard monitoring, terminal block control, MODBUS communication; (RUN, STOP, AV, AR, frequency, emergency stop...)
- Operation in 7 speed ranges, PID...
*The warranty only applies if the inverter is used in an IP55 electrical cabinet.
