The variable frequency drive (VFD) enables to transform 220V single-phase into 220V 3-phase, so a motor in 220V/380V 3-phase (alternating current) on a standard outlet.
Choose the VFD according to the motor power (from 0.2 kilowatt to 2.2 kW, i.e. 0.25 horsepower to 3 HP).
The VFD also enables to vary the frequency of the supply voltage (50 Hz), and then to vary the base speed of the electric induction motor (button on the front).
This VFD Jaguar CUB is dedicated to industrial applications requiring a strong starting torque.
