The NGMEVO offers a good compromise price/performance. It can handle up to 6 axes in interpolation (CNC machine) or 32 axes in position. 
Our range of axes drive is programmable thanks to its free software VTB2 downloadable in the tab "datasheets and downloads".
They can be connected to our CNC open source software: IsoNs.
