Solid state relays act like contactors: when a voltage (between 2 and 32 VDC) is applied on the command, the transistor turns on and supplies the load.

Technical characteristics:

* Plastic protection cover.

* Pulse voltage stability: 2000V, 50Hz

* Leakage current <2mA.
* Switching time <10ms.
* Operating temperature: -5°C + 65°C, relative humidity: 35 - 85%RH.
* Zero crossing control.

The radiator sizing is critical for the component lifetime. The following formula gives the power to dispose: active current of the load (A) x 3.0 W/A.
 Attention : the solid state relay must be protected by a varistor against output overvoltage,
especially when using an inductive load.
